Minimalist, graphic designer, and full-time traveler. Keen on all forms of creativity, but drawn to street-art and tattoos. I’ve been living out of a 53L backpack since June ’13, you could say that it’s my thing.

Tour De France passing a cornfield near Marmande.
I’ve been pretty silent on social media the past 3 weeks, for good reason. At the moment I’m working as an ESL instructor at “Adventure Camp” in the southwest of France. My bedroom is a tent and my classroom is one of the only 2 buildings on site with walls. On top of a mornings worth of lessons I spend the afternoons horseback riding, shelter building, rope climbing, canoeing, biking, and swimming. After I spend 16 hours with the kids I get to kick back with a beer and plan lessons for the next day. So I’m pretty much in heaven.
Today I used my time off to find some wifi, nap, and stop in town to watch Tour De France pass through- not a bad way to kill some time.

2 years ago, when I visited Vancouver I romanticized it for its yuppie neighborhoods. On my return it didn’t quite live up to the previous hype, but I found a new appreciation for the city when I discovered its unique coastal blend of nature, history, and culture. The people who get to live here are incredibly lucky.
